Available year-round, our products support our vision of caring for the environment, the craftsmanship and the end-users of CARE BY ME products. We are constantly pursuing new ways to reduce our carbon footprint and remove waste from our production, the latest being our zero waste products.
CARE BY ME uses only natural materials ~ cashmere, wool, silk, linen & 100% GOTS certified organic cotton. Recently we started to use hemp and banana leaves too.
CARE BY ME is not fast-fashion: most items produced without use of electricity, truly handmade and heart made. CARE BY ME is designed in Denmark, handmade in Nepal and India. All is produced in a socially responsible manner, while helping women in developing countries.

CARE BY ME was founded in 2012 by Danish designer, Camilla Gullits.  It was her goal to produce a line of clothing and home goods that would be developed in a socially responsible manner while at the same helps women in developing countries. Camilla was educated at the Danish Design school. 

CARE BY ME is a company owned and operated by women that designs exclusive products to embrace people in our part of the world, while at the same time empowers women in developing countries to educate themselves and to be economically independent.

In Nepal, in the Kathmandu Valley, we use traditionally skilled artisans in our small workshops where we knit on needles by hand, on old-fashioned manual knitting machines and weave both manually and semi-automatically.

In India we work with a 3rd Generation family business. The great grandfather started with 3 handlooms and 4 technicians and has handled job orders for domestic supply since 1972.  Today, the factory is both GOTS and Fairtrade certified.  They also have a very impressive program encouraging their workers to stimulate their children do well in school.
